The world’s first LNG-powered container ship CMA CGM Jacques Saade arrives at Yantian port Tuesday. 

The 399.99-meter-long and 61.3-meter-wide container ship can accommodate up to 220,000 TEUs (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units). In a single trip, the LNG-powered ship will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 20 percent, nitrous oxide emissions by 85 percent, and 99 percent of particulate matters and oxysulfide emissions.
