1.Civilized Behavior Regulation of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone will take effect on Mar. 1, requiring residents to say no to sale and consumption of wild animals protected by law. According to the Regulation, wild animals shall be cared for. People shall not harm, capture, hunt, trade or consume wild animals protected by law and shall say no to sale and use of illegal products made from wild animals. In addition, the Regulation also sets out rules related to hygiene habits and lifestyles of the public advocated in the epidemic prevention and control. (Source: Shenzhen Release)

2.Bus and metro services reduce headways to lower passenger density. Residents shall wear face masks throughout their public transportation rides. As all sectors in Shenzhen have been resuming work and production, the number of passengers taking public transportation has significantly increased. In order to step up epidemic prevention and protect residents’ safety, bus and metro services have appropriately adjusted capacity and optimized headways, so as to lower the risks brought by close contact. 3.Service Bureau for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of Shenzhen Municipality issues supporting policies to facilitate work resumption. Survey shows nearly 50% of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises have resumed work. Service Bureau for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of Shenzhen Municipality adheres to placing equal weight on epidemic prevention and work resumption. While conducting epidemic prevention and control, the Bureau also assists micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in work resumption through market research, supporting policies and optimized online work procedures. According to a sample survey by relevant associations involving 190 such enterprises, by last weekend, 47.18% of them had resumed work. The figure is expected to reach 60% this week. 4.420 million RMB is to be granted to enterprises as a 6-month subsidy for sewage treatment. Shenzhen Municipal Water Bureau, Development and Reform Commission and Finance Bureau have jointly released Notice of Implementing Phased Subsidies for Urban Sewage Treatment to Industrial and Commercial Enterprises Affected by the Epidemic. Shenzhen’s industrial and commercial enterprises will be granted a 6-month subsidy for sewage treatment. 5.Shenzhen issues a “hard-core” policy to support commerce and trade enterprises against the epidemic, and 500,000 RMB will be awarded to each enterprise with retail sales growth reaching 100 million RMB. Shenzhen Commerce Bureau will launch a 2020 reward plan for the retail sales (turnover) as support to further expand the operation of commerce and trade enterprises, and boost the confidence of the industry. According to the policy, wholesale and retail enterprises as well as hotels and catering companies whose retail sales (turnover) in 2019 were 100 million RMB more than that of 2018, will be granted 500,000 RMB for each growth of 100 million RMB. 6.Shenzhen publishes a catalogue of epidemic prevention products by small and medium-sized hi-tech enterprise. To help Shenzhen’s hi-tech enterprises expand sales channels of epidemic prevention goods and build platforms to connect products demand and supply, Shenzhen Talent Affairs Bureau and Service Bureau for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises jointly issued the first edition of Catalogue of Epidemic Prevention Products by Small and Medium-sized Enterprises to facilitate the operation and production resumption. The first edition includes 168 epidemic prevention products from 72 enterprises, covering medical equipment, medical detection and reagents, medicine, software systems, smart equipment and epidemic prevention goods.
