On March 29, the Youth League Committee of the Yantian District Committee officially launched ten major volunteer actions for various social causes, in a bid to mobilize more young volunteers to contribute to Yantian’s high-quality development.

The ten actions involve green development, community-level patrol teams, building a civilized city, protection of coastal lines, children’s education, care for the elderly and the disabled, tourism, healthcare and competitions.

At the launching ceremony, Yantian District also awarded ten top volunteers in the district. “In Yantian, more and more young people are joining volunteer teams to serve and give back to the community,” shared Li Guanghui, one of the awardees, hoping that more and more young people can join the volunteer force.
