Recently, Yantian District once again won first place in the city-level performance evaluation of the national basic public health service project in 2022, which is the fourth consecutive year that Yantian has delivered an excellent result in the area of basic public health service, after winning first place in city-level performance evaluations in 2019 and 2020, and first place when representing Shenzhen in the province’s basic public health service performance evaluation in 2021.

This achievement is attributed to the high-quality development of community-level health care in the district. In recent years, Yantian has consistently been adhering to the development concept of serving the health of the public, with the main goal of “creating high-quality basic public health services to better meet the needs of the residents.” Yantian has been continuously promoting the full coverage of the community health service network, providing innovative services to key groups of residents, and promoting the development of high-quality basic public health services.

In order to objectively and truly assess residents’ knowledge of and satisfaction with the national basic public health service program, Yantian conducts quarterly surveys on resident’s awareness rate and satisfaction with the public health service program by introducing third-party evaluation agencies and using intelligent voice services. Based on the survey results, Yantian also continuously optimizes the content of the program, tightens quality control, and highlights the evaluation of service effectiveness, in a bid to better satisfy residents’ needs and bring more benefits to them.
