On April 14, local time, Chen Qing, vice mayor of Shenzhen and Party chief of the CPC Yantian District Committee, led a delegation of government departments and enterprises to Brazil to attend the China (Shenzhen-Yantian)-Brazil (São Paulo) Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Meeting.

The exchange meeing promoted a number of specific cooperation projects, covering many fields such as biomedicine and cross-border e-commerce, fully demonstrating the huge potential of cooperation between Shenzhen and São Paulo.

BGI signed a cooperation agreement with Brazlex Medical Genetics, a leading company in the field of medical testing in Brazil, and the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of clinical medical testing and introduce BGI's products and services such as prenatal screening and early tumor screening to provide more advanced medical technologies for the Brazilian market. 

Yantian and Brazil China Trade Promotion Association signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, which will further strengthen the import and export trade and cross-border e-commerce cooperation between China and Brazil, providing more convenience and opportunities for trade between the two countries.
