The Automotive World China 2023 (AWC 2023) exhibition is presenting a wide array of new products and innovative technologies and solutions from approximately 3,000 local and international enterprises covering intelligent driving, intelligent networking, autonomous aerial vehicles and new automotive materials.

The three-day expo, which kicks off Oct. 11 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center in Bao’an District, will provide a platform for exhibitors and businesses to engage in negotiations and establish collaborative partnerships, so as to promote the commercial application of new technologies. The expo, covering an area of 160,000 square meters, is expected to attract over 100,000 attendees from home and abroad.

One of the expo’s highlighted areas will focus on advanced technologies and products from enterprises related to the research and development of autonomous aerial vehicles. For instance, XPeng Aeroht, an affiliate of XPeng Inc., will be showcasing an intelligent car that could fulfill users’ needs both on land and in the air. EHang Holdings Ltd. will present a manned autonomous aerial vehicle capable of vertical takeoff, landing, and mid-air hovering.

In addition, over 50 professional forums focusing on new energy vehicles, intelligent networking, and intelligent driving will be held during the forum. AWC 2023 has also partnered with embassies, consulates, industry associations, and trade and investment promotion agencies from multiple countries and regions, including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea, to facilitate more than 2,000 business matchmaking meetings.
