Yantian government holds meeting to set development goals for 2022

On Jan. 4 and 5, 2022, Deng Feibo, deputy Party chief of the CPC Yantian District Committee and head of Yantian District, presided over a theory-discussing meeting to summarize the government work over the past year, and set targets and map out measures for Yantian’s reform and development in 2022.

The meeting also drew up blueprints to accelerate the work of building Yantian into a core area of the global maritime hub and the construction of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Tourism Consumption Cooperation Zone in Sha Tau Kok.

According to the meeting, Yantian District will make great efforts in building itself into “a core hub in the Greater Bay Area and a role model for quality development," in a bid to become a modern, international, innovative coastal urban district which is favorable for living, businesses and tourism.

Government leaders in attendance included Qiao Hongbin, head of the Standing Committee of the Yantian District People's Congress, Yin Shubin, chairman of the Yantian District CPPCC, Gu Yunhong, deputy Party of the CPC Yantian District Committee and secretary of the Politics and Law Committee of Yantian District.
