White flowers are seen blooming in Wutong Mountain. The plant, Michelia maudiae Dunn, or commonly known as Maud’s Michelia, is a flowering plant in the Michelia genus that grows as high as 15-20 meters. 

Its flowers normally have nine tepals, each extending as long as 5-7 centimeters. Visitors to Wutong Mountain can find a blanket of these snowy-white flowers along Hanxiao Trail in Shenshan Hanxiao Valley, in the northeast of the mountain.
