The Zhongying Street History Museum is among the recently published fifth batch of organizations qualified for recognition by the National Education Base of Party History and National History for the Next Generation. The Zhongying Street History Museum was also the only organization from Guangdong Province to receive the recognition.

On May 1, 1991, the Zhongying Street History Museum opened to the public and is now a national Grade III museum and a patriotic education base in Guangdong Province, as well as an important national education base for Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The museum is dedicated to the protection, research, development and utilization of the historical and cultural resources of Zhongying Street. It’s also responsible for the management of Yantian District’s immovable cultural relics and the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritages.

Over the past years, the museum has launched a number of brand exhibitions and events to promote patriotic education.
