The Committee organized an economic lecture on modern fashion and digital creative industries with a key note address by Tang Wen, director of the Modern Fashion Research Center and head of the Shenzhen National High-tech Industry Innovation Center Service Industry Research Institute. Tang elaborated on the background, planning and strategies related to the policies of the two industries at both city and district levels.
“There is ample room for improvement in Yantian’s modern fashion industry, particularly in industrial clusters and talent introduction,” said Tang, suggesting the district further expand industrial space, introduce new talent and implement precise support systems while seizing the opportunities provided by the “core area + cooperation zone” policy to look for breakthroughs in digital industry development and promote cross-border integration and development of modern fashion and digital creative industry clusters.
“The workstation enables a broader and deepened platform for CPPCC members to fulfill their duties related to the livelihood ofthe general public,” Yin Shubin, chairperson of CPPCC Yantian Committee noted in the unveiling ceremony. Yin urged all members to actively participate in the development of cultural tourism, cosmetics, apparel, and modern fashion brands, contributing to the high-quality economic and social progress of Yantian.
