From: Shenzhen Daily | Updated:2025-05-23

The launch event for the Yantian subvenue of the 21st China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) and a press conference for the Mountain-Sea Symbiosis Festival were held simultaneously at the Biosphere 3 - Dameisha Vanke Center Carbon-Neutral Experimental Zone on May 23.

Centered around the theme of "Mountain-Sea Symbiosis," the two-in-one event integrated natural ecology, cultural arts, and low-carbon technology to showcase the unique cultural charm and ecological beauty of Yantian.

During the event, Jiang Hao, chairman of Shenzhen Wansha Holdings Co. Ltd. and general director of Biosphere 3, made a significant announcement about the Mountain-Sea Symbiosis Festival. This festival, running from October this year through April next year, will feature a diverse range of activities, including art, music, and sports. During the event, the Dameisha carbon-neutral community will transform into a Sustainable Installation Art Park, hosting multi-dimensional outdoor sports events. Additionally, the Dameisha Green Alliance will unite local businesses to create a green consumption cluster, ensuring year-round economic vitality for Dameisha.

On the same day, the Biosphere 3 Carbon Neutral Community Strategy 2.0 was officially released, revealing the first results of the community’s three-year carbon emission reduction plan, which achieved a 5% decrease. The event also saw the signing of several cultural and ecological cooperation projects in fields such as community development, integrated energy management, carbon asset management, and cultural and artistic philanthropy. These initiatives aim to drive the integration of “culture + ecology + technology” for sustainable development.

One of the event’s highlights was the inauguration of the Yantian Mountain-Sea Art Museum, a significant initiative to enhance public cultural services in the district. This museum, a collaborative effort between the Yantian District Literary Federation, Yantian District Artists Association, and Biosphere 3, will focus on fostering public culture, guiding cultural development, nurturing artistic talent, and cultivating the art market.
