The 27th China Hi-Tech Fair opened in Shenzhen on Nov. 14, and Yantian District presented one of its largest exhibitions in nearly six years.
Twenty-six companies, research institutes and professional parks from the district were on display, showcasing close to 60 advanced products and technologies that demonstrated three clear trends: a rise in low-altitude economy applications, enhanced life-science capabilities, and the rapid growth in intelligent economy solutions.
Four wave-shaped central platforms divided the Yantian District Pavilion into themed zones covering low-altitude economy, life and health, intelligent economy and modern agriculture, and marine economy and environmental protection.
At the pavilion’s center stood two 1.6-meter-tall dual-arm robots developed by the Shenzhen Research Institute of Nankai University, which is located in Yantian.
The cooperative dual-arm orthopedic surgical robot system targets complex spinal and joint procedures and is reported to be nearing readiness for clinical translation.
To the left of the main display sat a rounded intelligent street-cleaning vehicle. Equipped with AI-driven route planning, the vehicle autonomously returns to recharge after completing tasks and is designed for efficient around-the-clock operation.
