The Dameisha Beach Park in Yantian District has reopened its doors to the public June 15 after it was temporarily closed June 12 to ensure the safety of tourists during Typhoon Nuri which made landfall in Guangdong June 13.

Now that the typhoon has passed over, residents and tourists can resume booking visits to the park and enjoy getaways there with families and friends.

According to a staffer with the facility, since its trial operation that started May 1 of this year, the beach park, which covers a total area of 107,000 square meters, has opened its beaches, sidewalks, promenades and green areas to the public.
