Meishatalang Road in Yantian among the Top 10 Walking Trails in Shenzhen

The selection of the city’s 10 best walking trails was announced Tuesday, Shenzhen Evening News reported, Meishatalang Road in Yantian District is on the list of the Top 10. Meishatalang Road (梅沙踏浪道)is a coastal promenade in Yantian District.

Two of the 10 walking trails are in Futian District, Lianshanchunzao Road(莲山春早路)in Lianhua Hill Park and Xiangmixingfu Road(香蜜幸福路) in Xiangmi Park.

Another two are Shiyanhuguang Road (石岩湖光路)at Shiyan Lake in Bao'an District and Guangmingshanhu Road(光明山湖道)in Guangming District.

Binhaihonglin Road(滨海红林路) at Shenzhen Bay Park and Meilinqingshi Road (梅林青石路) both cross between Futian and Nanshan districts.

There is also Yangtaidiecui Road(阳台叠翠路) surrounding three reservoirs in Longhua District, Wutongyanyun Road(梧桐烟云路) in Luohu District and Qingchundayun Road(青春大运路) at Dayun Park in Longgang District.

After an initial selection, online selection and expert evaluation, the final list was presented.

The final results were chosen from a total of 32 trails by the experts taking into account several aspects, including the surrounding areas, equipped sports facilities, popularity, cultural values and safety reasons for physical exercises.

The online selection received more than 5.32 million votes, according to the report. Shiyanhuguang Road ranked first place among the netizens’ votes.

The selection event was launched by the Municipal Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau and Shenzhen Evening News.
