Zhongying Street (also known as Chung Ying Street) is a historic border street located in the Shatoujiao Subdistrict of Yantian District. It is famous for its unique historical role as a physical demarcation line between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, earning it the nickname "One Street, Two Systems."

Following the Convention for the Extension of Hong Kong Territory in 1899, Shatoujiao was divided into two parts, with the street serving as the boundary between the Chinese mainland and the British-leased New Territories. The street is marked by several boundary stones that were erected during the demarcation.

Before Hong Kong's return to China in 1997, the eastern side of the street was under Chinese jurisdiction, while the western side was under British administration.

Today, Zhongying Street is a popular tourist destination that blends historical education with duty-free shopping.

The street is lined with duty-free shops and stores selling local specialties.

Visitors can explore the Zhongying Street Historical Museum, which documents the street's century-long evolution and serves as a patriotic education base. Other notable sights include the boundary markers, a warning bell placed next to Marker No. 1, an ancient well, and a large banyan tree.

Entry to Zhongying Street requires a special border access permit. Non-Chinese citizens are currently not issued permits to enter this specific zone. Visitors need to make an online reservation in advance via official WeChat platforms or apply on-site with valid ID cards.

The street is approximately 250 meters long and less than 4 meters wide, located in the southern part of Yantian District. It is accessible via Metro Line 8 to Shatoujiao Station, followed by a short walk.
