海浜桟道は、長さ19.5キロメートルの世界一の海浜ベルトで、沙頭角と大・小梅沙海岸線をつなぐ遊歩道である。海浜桟道は塩田の海浜風情と海洋文化を重点的に体現し、「街之幽」（中英街）、「海之韻」（中英街～塩田中軸線）、「城之秀」（梧桐山～塩田区中心部～海）、「山之雄」（沙頭角湾の塩田港に近い東側）の4つの異なるテーマに分けられている。
