Batar Group is a Yantian-based gold and jewelry enterprise founded in 2000. The company specializes in the processing, wholesale, sales, and collection of gold and jewelry products, operating several brands that cover wedding ornaments, statement jewelry, and intricately designed pieces.

Batar is widely regarded as a foundational player in China's gold industry. Its founder, Zhou Taolin, moved from Hong Kong to Yantian in the 1990s specifically because it was the only bonded area permitting gold trade at the time. By the time China fully opened the gold industry in 2002 with the establishment of the Shanghai Gold Exchange, Batar had already secured a leading market position. At its peak production scale, the company produced 200 metric tons of gold accessories annually, meaning roughly one in every five items of gold jewelry sold in the Chinese market originated from Batar.
In recent years, Batar has embraced digital and intelligent transformation. The group has signed strategic cooperation agreements with Tencent Cloud and TTF AI to jointly develop an AI-powered creative design platform and a digital factory. An AIGC-assisted system has significantly reduced the time required to design new products. At the 2026 China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, Batar showcased a classical bridal headpiece named "Phoenix Perched Among Peony Blossoms," inspired by Tang Dynasty court headdresses and crafted using traditional techniques.
Batar is headquartered at the Batar Jewelry Building in the Beishan Industrial Zone Phase II, Yantian District. The company is one of the flagship enterprises operating within the Pengcheng Gold Valley industrial park, alongside other major players such as Chow Tai Fook.
