Yantian District lies in eastern Shenzhen, about 12 km from the city center, and covers 74.75 square kilometers. It borders Luohu District to the west and Dapeng New Area to the east, adjoins Longgang and Pingshan districts to the north, and faces Hong Kong’s New Territories to the south, with direct access to Hong Kong via the Shatoujiao port.

Geographical coordinates span approximately 22°26′59″ to 22°51′49″ N and 113°45′44″ to 114°34′21″ E. Yantian is backed by mountains and faces the sea, with Wutong Mountain and Meisha Peak in the north and Dapeng Bay to the south. It enjoys a superior geographical location and a beautiful natural environment.
