In 2019, Yantian residents' per capita disposable income is 62,398 yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 9.0 percent. Per capita consumption expenditure of residents is 41,298 yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 6.9 percent. Engel's coefficient is 29.4 percent.

At the end of 2019, the number of employed persons in units is 63,053, an increase of 5.8 percent over the previous year. Among them, there are 18,850 people work in the secondary industry, a decrease of 6.3 percent; there are 44,203 people work in the third industry, an increase of 11.9 percent. The labor force structure in a tertiary industry is adjusted from last year's 0.0:33.7:66.3 to 0.0:29.9:70.1 this year. The annual average salary of the fully employed staff is 774,558 yuan, an increase of 17.3 percent.
