With the 2026 APEC summit set to bring an influx of international visitors to Shenzhen, Dameisha Outlets in Yantian District has undergone a comprehensive upgrade — most visibly through the addition of bilingual signage across the complex.

Entering Dameisha Outlets, visitors are greeted by a picturesque arrangement of neo-European-style buildings with pristine white facades interspersed with landscaped walkways, where the natural coastal scenery complements the modern architectural aesthetic.

From directory boards at the main entrance and floor guides to store nameplates, restroom signs, parking indicators, and service center notices — every sign now features both Chinese and English, making navigation effortless for non-Chinese speakers. Bilingual site maps have been installed at key intersections, and even restaurant menus are available in English, with dish descriptions, pricing, and service notes all clearly translated.
According to Dameisha Outlets' management, the complex has been steadily optimizing its brand portfolio and bringing in premium international labels. To date, 101 international brands have opened stores there, spanning accessible luxury goods, trendy sportswear, lifestyle products, and more.

The complex has also tailored its services to overseas shoppers by launching 56 "Instant Tax Refund" demonstration stores under the departure tax refund scheme. At these stores, international visitors can complete tax refunds on-site, bypassing the usual queues at departure ports.
Beyond hardware and signage, the management has rolled out regular training in serving international visitors for all staff, covering language skills and cross-cultural etiquette to ensure a welcoming experience for guests from around the world.
