Directed by Li Jun and starring young actors including Xu Jiazhou and Jin Ling, the film follows Qiu Feng, a young man with a passion for music who wants to form a band. While chasing his musical dream, Qiu rekindles his relationship with his estranged father and meets his soulmate.

Most of the scenes were shot in Yantian, highlighting the district’s unique coastal and mountain scenery alongside its vibrant city life.

From the morning glow along the seaside boardwalk in Shatoujiao and the azure waters and sandy beaches of Dameisha, to the magnificent vistas of the Wutong Mountains and the lively night market at Yangang Port, Yantian’s landmarks serve as the film’s stunning backdrops.

He expressed hope that more films and TV productions would choose to shoot on location in Yantian.

The film has been shortlisted for the 5th Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival.
