China's first library themed on the low-altitude economy opened in late June at the helicopter operating base of Shenzhen Eastern General Aviation Co., Ltd. (Heli-Eastern), a provider of helicopter services and eVTOL operations.

Co-built by the Yantian-based company and Yantian Library, Up Library occupies 800 square meters and features an initial collection of 1,000 books, primarily focused on aviation and related fields.

Why do airplanes stay in the air? What are the theories behind drones? From the Wright brothers to SpaceX, from "Principles of Flight" to "A Brief History of Humankind – Conquering the Skies," every milestone in aviation history is waiting for you to discover at the library.

From low-altitude industry policy briefings and eVTOL technology trends to real-world drone applications, this new library serves as your gateway to firsthand intelligence on this trillion-yuan market.

Right next to the reading zone, a helicopter aerodynamics display takes you beyond the printed page: see how helicopters work with vivid models, then open a book and find out through schematics and flight history exactly what keeps them aloft.

The library is now part of Shenzhen's public library system, allowing readers to borrow and return books at any branch across the city.

Come and visit the library with your reader's card if you already have one. Those without one can apply for a virtual reader's card via the Yantian Library WeChat account (ID: szytlib).

Opening hours: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Service hotline: 0755-25227003 / 0755-25227123
