Recently, the new comprehensive medical building of Shenzhen Yantian District People’s Hospital (Group) was put into use, with orthopedics being the first medical department to move in.

The building is a significant construction project designed to improve people’s welfare. Its construction started in 2020 and was completed in December 2023, then handed over to the People's Hospital in February this year.

The new building, with a total floor area covering 44,914 square meters, is comprised of 19 above-ground floors and three underground levels. It can accommodate 333 newly added beds and 15 operating rooms, including a hybrid operating room, a 3D 4K digital operating room, four 2D digital operating rooms, and nine general operating rooms.

To enhance the hospital’s medical environment and services, digital signage screens are installed at the entrance of each ward of the building, and many areas are equipped with LCD TVs such as the lobby and wards.

Additionally, the building features over 220 parking spaces, effectively relieving parking difficulties. Next, the hospital will relocate other medical departments to the building while ensuring patient safety and the smooth functioning of other departments.
