Xiaomeisha Sea World, Coastal Resort, and MGM Shenzhen have jointly curated a lineup of festive activities for the upcoming Spring Festival, which falls on Feb. 17 this year.

At the aquarium, a spectacular underwater lion dance will be performed amid schools of golden trevallies. Celebrity sea lion Neno will also entertain and interact with audiences at the Merry Theater. A refreshed mermaid show will greet visitors.
Interactive games will be available throughout the Sea World, where participants can collect stamps for a chance to enter a lucky draw for red envelopes.
The Coastal Resort is hosting a tulip fair featuring tens of thousands of blooms along the seaside. Additional amusement facilities have been set up, and visitors can purchase flowers, specimens, floral teas, and other souvenirs at a flea market.

At MGM Shenzhen, the lobby and rooms are adorned with lanterns, traditional New Year paintings, and lion dance costumes. Paper-cut decorations and red Chinese knots convey wishes for a prosperous new year.
The hotel’s restaurants have introduced special Lunar New Year dishes and beverages, while activities such as lion dance performances, riddle games, handicraft workshops, and visits by the “God of Fortune” will add to the festive vibes.
OCT Group is offering a multi‑venue pass for 258 yuan (US$36) per person, providing access to Xiaomeisha Sea World, Coastal Resort, and Splendid China‑Folk Culture Villages. The pass is available through various online travel platforms.
